The New American Library book collection is a restyling of older, iconic books, all under one umbrella. The design of the collection is to show consistency across multiple different titles and versions. The design was to cultivate a newer, younger audience to read the books. For my concept, I strived to emphasize composition and color with a strong use of photography. Each cover would have a photo from a famous photographer of the 1900’s that captivates the story of the book. The color that would be used for the cover would resemble one of the most bold colors in that photograph. The composition all together would grab the viewer's attention.
